Gruber Family Foundation

The Gruber Family Foundation was established in 1987 by Linda W. and Jon D. Gruber in Marin, California. The foundation supports organizations that focus on Education, Women’s Issues and Reproductive Rights, News and Investigative Media, Social Safety Nets, Arts and Film, and the Environment.

The foundation makes grants ranging in size from smaller $10,000 grants to $1,000,000+ grants spread over time. The Gruber Family Foundation does not accept unsolicited proposals; the foundation board meets quarterly to discuss the awarding of grants and grants are awarded on a quarterly timetable.
